When we say ROWE is truly Made in Germany, we mean more than a label on a bottle.

For us, truly Made in Germany does not mean an oil is only filled in Germany while the product itself is made somewhere else. It does not mean a company exists on paper and asks another manufacturer to produce its oil for it. It means the entire process belongs to one real manufacturer, with real facilities, real engineering, and real control over quality.

With ROWE, it starts from the beginning. From research and development, to formulation, to manufacturing, to filling, the product is developed and produced within the ROWE system in Germany. And ROWE goes even further than that. The difference is in the details, in the level of control, and in the commitment to doing things properly at every stage.

FROM THE RACETRACK TO THE SHELF

ROWE is involved in motorsport not just out of passion for the sport or for a good image, but because no test is more realistic than out on the race track. We therefore use the findings from our “driving laboratory” to research new lubricants and to optimize existing formulations. With ROWE RACING, we achieve what cannot be recreated in any laboratory in the world: the practical test under extreme conditions.

One example: in 2017, we drove a total of 158 laps of the Nürburgring circuit in the BMW M6 GT3 during the 24-hour race. 4,100 kilometers in one day. In everyday traffic, you would have to chase a normal car 82,000 kilometers through the streets in a very short time. Extreme tests like these provide ROWE with valuable data for optimizing its own product range.

Thanks to our own research and development department, we can immediately put new findings into practice and then test our products on the racetrack for their resilience and performance - flexibly, quickly and reliably.

The moment ROWE Racing won the 24 Hours of Spa — a victory that proved performance, endurance, and reliability at the highest level of motorsport.
